

On the morning of September 20, Professor Arnold van Huis, consultant to FAO, from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and Associate Professor Jeffery K. Tomberlin, past-chair of American Board of Forensic Entomology, from the Texas A & M University, were invited to give lectures in the "Microbiology Frontier" Forum, organized by College of Life Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University.
Two wonderful presentations, titled "Insects as food and feed: perspective from a pioneer" and "Microbial Whispers Regulate Resiliency Within Ephemeral Resource Ecology", were given by Professor Arnold and Associate Professor Jeffery. The speeches were well-received by peoples and introduced the entomology research frontier in world. After presentation, they discussed on many entomology topics with participating experts and students.
